Criminal on the run, Marion Crane takes refuge at the motel operated by Norman Bates, a troubled man whose victims encounter a grisly fate at the hands of his “mother.” Marion soon becomes the next victim and her disappearance prompts inquiries from her sister and a private investigator. They both soon discover the morbid bond linking Norman to his mysterious “mother” at the Bates Motel.
This is a horrible remake of the classic. Even the sequels to the original are better than this one. Instead of a remake they should have just made another sequel. The acting is horrible and Vince Vaughn doesn’t make a good Norman at all. And as for Anne Heche, she ruins the character of Marion. Watch the 1960 version, that is the great one, this is just too horrible to even have the name “Psycho” for the title. I give it 1 out of 10 stars.
