The daylight can burn you, but the darkness will kill you. From the mind of the writer of “The Fugitive” comes the pulse-pounding sci-fi thriller, Pitch Black. Experience the pyschological terror when a group of marooned passengers must face a pack of terrifying creatures whose only weekness is the light. With little power and dwindling numbers, the doomed passengers turn to a vicious convict with an appetite for destruction and errie eyes that can guide them through the darkness.
When I first heard about this movie a while back I didn’t think much of it. Then the other night I saw part of this movie on HBO and I found that it was very interesting. With only seeing the middle and no word on when it was coming on again I purchased the DVD, and I am glad that I did. It starts out with the space ship crashing onto a planet and only a few surviving. Soon after they crashed they discovered that the killer they were transporting had escaped. His name is Reddick, and he has eyes that allow him to see in the dark. Soon they capture Reddick, but once they realize that something else more dangerous is on the planet they realize that Reddick is their only hope because of how he is able to see in the dark, and the creatures can only come out in the dark, and with the eclips coming, Reddick is their only hope for survival. If you haven’t seen this film, I highly recommend you checking it out. I give it an 8 out of 10.
