A small town has been turned upside down when a killer is on the loose. Though this killer is something out of the ordinary. This killer is a pack of mutant bats. They have been genetically mutated with sharper fangs and more aggression. Now the town veterinarian and detective team up to catch these bats before it’s too late.
The movie opens with us meeting two girls. They go into a lab where they see all these bats in cages. They get ready to feed them when one of the girls gets attacked. The two girls escape and later the professor gets killed by the bats. Soon the town’s detective tries to discover what killed the professor while the veterinarian tries to find out what killed a dog. When they discover that there are killer bats out they team up to stop these creatures. Later at the town’s party the bats continue their attack.
I expected the worst for this movie and I came away a bit surprised. It was far from great, but it does have its moments. It has horrible acting and cheesy dialog, I even thought at some points they were writing the script as they went along with the filming of this movie. But we do get a cheesy good time out of it, but not nearly as good as Killer Klowns From Outer Space. Anyway, this is worth a rental, but don’t expect much. I give this movie a 4 out of 10.
