Eight Legged FreaksWhen  toxic waste is spilled near a spider farm, the spiders get contaminated and begin to grow to an enormous size.  Now as they break out of the spider farm the residents of the small town must fight for their lives and hide in the mall as giant spiders start to attack.

The movie opens with a truck driving down a road.  When the driver sees a rabbit on the road she swerves and one of his toxic waste cans goes flying out and lands in the water.  Later we meet Joshua.  Joshua runs a spider farm and he’s getting crickets for his spiders to eat.  The crickets he gets are from the water where the toxic waste is.  As he feeds the spiders these crickets, within weeks they have grown ten times the size.  Soon the spiders break free and they start to attack the people in the town.

This movie is nothing more than a B horror film.  It has giant spiders and some really good humor.  You really can’t watch this film expecting to be scared, because there’s nothing scary about this film.  Eight Legged Freaks is more of a movie you will want to watch when you’re in the mood for a B horror flick.  This film does have a lot of flaws, but what B movie doesn’t?  Just enjoy this movie for what it is.  It’s a good way to get rid of an hour and a half with a good popcorn flick.  This is worth a rental.  I give it a 7 out of 10.
