I had heard plenty of good things about this film, so when I set down to watch this movie I had high hopes. Usually when I have high hopes I tend to find the movies not living up to my hopes. Well this film is Danta Tomaselli’s first film, and what do I think about his first time work? Well I think it lived up to my hopes. This movie was so bizarre and horrifying that I couldn’t help but keep my eyes glued to the TV screen while watching this film. It started out with a really nice opening scene, but soon and for the next 15 to 20 minutes the pace started to become slow and I was a bit confused as to what all was going on. But soon I found myself looking over my shoulder as this film just picked up with more horror and suspense and it never let up. The last 45 minutes to last hour of this film really turned this film into becoming a true horror masterpiece. Many people have said there haven’t been any good horror films to come out in the late 90’s. Well this film came out in 1999 and trust me, this film really proved that for all those people who think there were no good horror films to come out in the late 90’s they just need to look a bit harder. This is a great horror film, and I am really looking forward to checking out Dante Tomaselli’s next film titled “Horror.”
