Cabin by the LakeA screenwriter named Stanley Caldwell is working on a new screenplay.  But to finish his script he must do research, so he kidnaps young girls and drowns them in the lake.  Once he kidnaps a young woman named Mallory everything is about to fall apart.   She survives her attempted murder and tells the police about him.  Stanley must finish his script so he goes back after her, with the police beginning to find out about him.

I was really looking forward to this.  I thought it sounded like a good movie, and it sure did have potential.  But the thing that I really didn’t like was the star, Mallory.  She was so annoying.  She was constantly testing Stanley by writing things on the wall like, “I’m Not Scared of You.”  But the one thing that I thought would never really happen was the second thing she wrote once she was caught again.  She wrote, “Are You Scared of Me?”  I was wondering what this girl could be thinking because she was the one locked in the room with a chain around her ankle.  Stanley seemed like a really cool killer and I thought the story really wasn’t that bad.  It got boring at times.  I just hope the sequel is better thing this one.  I give this a 2 out of 10.

I remember watching this movie when I was a little kid. My mother had told me not to watch it, so of course I had to do it.
I also remember it scaring the shit out of me, I was very young so yeah x)
Now I’m trying to get a hold of the movie so I can watch it again, love it.
