blair witch projectThre filmmakers get lost in the woods while making a documentary.  Three years later their footage is found.

When this film was first released there were many arguments about whether or not it was fictional.  Everyone believed that this was a true documentary and that the videotapes had indeed been found and that the cast of the “home made documentary” were indeed missing and presumed dead.  Well the truth shall set you free!  The movie is as real as Pamela Anderson’s breasts.  That’s right folks it is pure fiction.  Now if you watched the movie before this piece of truth was uncovered you would have been terrified.  It was extremely wobbly and for a small portion of the movie you stare at a blank screen (thus the reason it was easily believed to be a real movie rahter than a Hollywood production).  There are no really gory scenes but the movie definitely sets the mood for creative thought.  You can imagine how horrifying it would feel to be in their situation.
Rating: Overall I rated the movie a 5 out of 10.

When this film was released there was a vast amount of hype and fiction based around this film. I always recall sitting in the cinema watching this and having to remind myself that it is ‘only a movie’. The feeling of helplesness and desertion continues to grow right up til tthe edge of your seat climax!!
